"Bitton continues to astound me. One day a month it's the best Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant in Sydney. Yellow (2 hats, $160 tasting menu with matched wines) is supposed to be the best, but Bitton offers superior (more generous) food and better (more generous) matched wines for a fraction of the cost ($65). I would defy any carnivore to not enjoy the vegetarian/vegan meals at Bitton. Do yourself a favour and try it at least once (the last Tuesday of the month). I haven't missed one, and don't intend missing one (or going back to Yellow). There's a new plant based king in Sydney. Congratulations Bitton." Brett, April

"The last Tuesday of the month Bitton has a set menu vegetarian dinner. I've been to two of them and the food is superb and ridiculously cheap (I hope they're not reading this). $40 gets you 4 courses of very high quality and tasty vegetarian food, and an extra $25 gets you 5 glasses of very interesting matched wines. That's $5 per glass of wine and $8 per course!! The chef has a gift for vegetarian food that unfortunately he's not allowed to inflict on the regular menu. One day a month he gets to shine however and shine he does. The venue is characterful, staff very friendly and the sommelier is passionate and on his game. I can't speak for the regular carnivore menu day to day, but once a month we herbivore are well catered for." Brett, March
