From a good business, good relationships grow

12 February 2010

“We've met some lovely people in the cafe who we have made and maintained great friendships with, and these relationships have grown and blossomed even away from the café. The cafe has created a little community made up of all sorts of locals who take an interest in each other and enjoy catching up over coffee. We enjoy coming to Bitton, a place that feels like home away from home. We always attend the degustation dinners with a group of people we met at Bitton Gourmet, who we now call our friends.” Quoted from one of the locals

My wife Sohani and I, along with our business partner Gaby would like to acknowledge and thank the local community for all their support since the inception of Bitton Gourmet in 2000. We are a small business that has enjoyed much growth over the past decade. This is largely due to the fact that we have many customers who come on a regular, if not daily, basis.

We are very lucky to have formed a place that is more than a café. It is an exciting place for people to meet their friends, a vibrant 3rd place to meet business colleagues or special environment to savour a fresh espresso and work quietly on projects. We are grateful to have such wonderful people who surround us daily. Our customers are the heart and foundation of what Bitton Gourmet represents today, a warm, friendly environment.

Business referral has also become a natural progression of this café. Not only do many of our customers who did not know each other before now share a table for breakfast, they now may share the same nanny, are apart of the same local school programs, share the same builder, the same electrician, etc.

By deliberately trying to create a friendly place and by taking on board the concerns as well as the praise, this is how we have helped create this atmosphere. I have always and will continue to welcome any feedback in the future and assure you that I am at all times here to listen and learn how we can better develop and grow the business.

We would like to make your Bitton experience as enjoyable as possible and at the end of the day, money does play a second part in this business and I David Bitton will always be David Bitton, a man who values relationships.
